106th Birthday and Mayoral Visit
We were incredibly lucky to celebrate the 106th birthday of one of our much loved residents, Rhoda Williams in July 2014. We held a 1940's themed afternoon party with a buffet, musical entertainment and even a visit from the local Mayor who conducted a special toast to Rhoda and spent time meeting and chatting with our residents. We were also very lucky to receive a card from the Mayor following her visit. Here are some photos from this exciting day...

Below are some photographs of activities recently at Tilsley House, organised by our new fantastic activities coordinator, Jane. Our residents had great fun shelling peas, preparing fruit salads and enjoying the recent Red Arrows Display on Weston's seafront.
Tilsley House Open Day April 2014
We are pleased to invite friends and guests to our open day on Saturday 5th April 2014 from 3pm-5pm to celebrate the formal opening of our new extension. We are proud to share with you all the new lounge and dining facilities for our residents and would love to share an afternoon with you for information, fun and activities. All are welcome including children and we look forward to seeing as many people as possible with us. Please feel free to contact us for more information and see our event poster attached below.

Children in Need 2013
Tilsley House will be proudly supporting Children in Need 2013 by encouraging both staff, residents and visitors to wear their pyjamas and all-in-ones! We welcome all to join us on the day for fun and activities and to help raise money for a worthy cause.

Tilsley House Extension 2013
Tilsley House are proud to announce that work has now begun on our exciting new extension due to be completed later this year which will result in a brand new lounge overlooking our beautiful grounds, a new larger plan dining area for our residents and guests and new front-facing ground floor luxury bedroom.
We are aiming to keep the disruption which this causes to the absolute minimum so as not to disturb residents or distract from daily living at Tilsley House. We are very excited to reveal the finished product and will keep you updated with our progress. We are hoping to arrange an Open Day to invite all our relatives and friends to celebrate with us which we will keep you informed of.
Tilsley Artwork
We are lucky to have talented and artistic residents at Tilsley House and do our very best to encourage them and allow them to be able to do what they love and enjoy. We are so proud to be able to share with you this fine piece of artwork which was created by our very own Mary Barker (August 2013). We cannot wait to frame this wonderful drawing and have it on display for all of our visitors to enjoy. Well done, Mary!

Tilsley House were proud to host an exciting 4 days of events at the start of June 2012 in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee - we had brilliant feedback from all involved and got to share these celebrations with many of our extended family and friends!
