Solomon Care have a robust recruitment process and employ staff with the drive and motivation to enhance the lives of our residents as well as the professional and caring capacity to deliver high standards. We employ a mixture of senior staff, carers, domestic and catering staff of differing experience and knowledge and encourage our staff to continually learn and develop professionally. The structure of our home currently stands at:
Home Manager > Deputy Manager > Senior Care Assistants > Care Assistants > Apprentices & Volunteers
We also employ a number of kitchen assistants, domestic assistants and a designated activity coordinator. Each of our field areas hold a manager to oversee aspects of administration, catering, activities and domestics in order to provide the high standards that we promise to deliver.
Volunteers are always welcome within the home subject to application and satisfactory DBS check. They are typically present help out at open days, run our internal shop and help out at special occasions etc. Volunteers really make a difference and allow our residents to experience quality one-to-one contact and greater chances of activities and trips. We thoroughly recommend this as it is endlessly rewarding and can really make a difference to the residents in terms of heightening mood, communication and interaction.
